OPFLEX BOOMS.™ These netted strips of absorbent OPFL EX™ material offer 500% more surface area than conventional white booms and attract oil like a magnet. Weighing only 23 ounces, they can each absorb approximately 6 gallons of oil.

MOPS. Fabricated from OPFLEX™ material. Use to mop up oil sheen from the water’s surface or string them together and stake them into the sand to shield beaches from tar balls. Weighing only 27 ounces, yet covering over 75 square feet of surface area. When attached to containment booms, OPFLEX MOPS™ can truly prevent pollutants from leaving the contained area by absorbing released oil.

ENVIRONMENTAL INDICATORS. Each kit contains three indicators with 10 feet of rope to tie them together. Weigh them down and detect pollutants at multiple depths in the water. Have been used successfully to capture contaminants in the water column which have been analyzed for ethylbenzene, hexane, m.p.-xylene, 2 methylpentane and 3 methylpentane in the Gulf of Mexico.

OPFLEX SWEEPS.™ Measuring 72x12 inches, they can absorb nearly a gallon of oil. Used in water and on oil contaminated surfaces, SWEEPS use over 12 square feet of surface area to absorb released oil.

OPFLEX PADS.™ Measuring 16x18 inches, they draw the oil in like a magnet. Weighing just over 1 ounce, the pads are easy to transport and deploy.
